I welcome you all to the ever growing profession of pharmacy. Pharmaceutical field is evolving day by day and contributing more and more to the well-being of the society. As you have noticed during current pandemic, India is exporting medicines to more than 100 countries.
Bahuddeshiya Adiwasi Vikas Mandal has just completed 38 progressive years in education, had established Shri M. S. Kowase College of Pharmacy in the year 2022 offering D Pharm. course, with the goal of providing well trained competent Pharmacists who would be involved in manufacturing of drug formulations, quality assurance, research and development, marketing of drug formulations.
The past 10 years have been eventful for the pharmaceutical industry. Government and private sectors are working consistently towards improvement of healthcare among people. Pharmaceutical products or drugs are one of the important components of health care management. A ‘Pharmacist’ component of health care management, his role is expanding from a dispenser, manufacturer to a researcher and a patient counsellor. It is one of the few professions which has shown significant growth rate even in the time of recession. The pharmaceutical industry is growing by leaps and bound, and every day new developments with respect to the pharmaceutical technology are evident. Today, a new era of clinical research has opened many new career opportunities for the budding pharmacists.
Shri M. S. Kowase College of Pharmacy has created its own forte in the educational arena in and around Gadchiroli. Under the able leadership of our Chairperson Mr. Marotrao Sainuji Kowase, this college has witnessed over a decade of transformation in Pharmaceutical sector and given its contribution to the field in the form of Alumni. Our college and faculty have been decorated with many awards at National level. SMSKCP has risen on the horizon of Education markedly in last few years with the constantly evolving teaching-learning process, technically supported teaching tools, online teaching-learning techniques, research oriented working environment and facilities along with its illustrious placements over the years. Needless to say, our outstanding team and students have contributed to these glorious years. I welcome you to the ever-challenging world of pharmacy and contribute to the well-being of the society. We, ‘The Pharmacists’, promote health not medicines. At Shri M. S. Kowase college of Pharmacy, you will learn new concepts, unlearn few, widen your horizons, apply your minds, explore your talents and take up social responsibility to improve the healthcare system and ultimately become ethical professional and responsible citizen.
